How to make custom model in LoL with Maya 2014

Hello everyone! this time I have a tutorial of how to make custom model in LoL with Maya 2014 and the model I used as example is Genji! from overwatch, now let get to the video tutorial

How to make custom model in League of Legends
12 steps of how to make custom model
1.Import your model to maya
2.Delete what you think you dont need that part of the model
3.Reverse your model [Normal>Reverse]
4.Fix the UVs [Select your model>Edit UVs>UV Texture Editor],note that the UV must not overlap except if they are needed for example if you right and left arm is both the same part you can overlap the UV of the right and left arm
5.combine and merge you model [Mesh>Combine] [Edit>Delete by Type>History] [Edit Mesh>Merge]
6.Import the skeletons
7.Try to make you model fit with the skeletons, note that the most important part is upperbody and arms so priority it and try to make them fit more better than any other parts
8.Bind the model to the skeletons, note that you should use the binding option in the video
9.Paint the skin weights on your model, note that before you do this I recommend to use the Viewport 2.0,Use All Lights and go to Rendering and click at Ambient Light (the icon look like a sun) I do this because it help make you see the weights more clearly
also note that this part is the part that spend time the most and the most important
also note that if you want to move the skeletons to help with paint weight easier you have to go to Riot tap, click at your model and click at Reset bindPose of selected skinned mesh with current pose and after you finished skin weighting you have to go back to Riot tap select your model and click at Fix animations of selected joints using the bindpose
10.Remove unused influences that will prevent you from exporting the model [Skins>Edit Smooth Skin>Remove Unused Influences]
11.Export your skin, select your model go to Riot tap, click at EXP SEL,in the Files of type select League of Legends – export skin and then export your skin
also in case if you cant export your skin follow the step 12.
12.Select you model, right click at it,select Assign Favorite Material,Select Layered Shader and then try to export it again
